The arena point calculator is based on Blizzard's latest formula (WoW Patch 3.09).

How the Arena Points Calculator Works

This is the new function which calculates your arena points. X = Team Rating, Y = Arena Points If X<=1500: Y = 0.22 * Rating + 14 (note: this calculation can go negative, but will be floored at 0) If X>1500: Y =1511.26/(1 + 1639.28 * 2.71828 power(-0.00412*X)) 2v2 teams earn 76% of the points of a 5v5 team with the same rating 3v3 teams earn 88% of the points of a 5v5 team with the same rating

Get a secondary professions: go out hunting for fish, cook delicious meals, and be a good healer -all this will bring you a lot of money. You ought to also bear in mind that the bigger your character's bags are the better. With bigger baggage, you'll be ready to hold more things that you'll sell. This means that you can grind longer and avoid the wasteful drop of valuable items when you have to create space for a more valuable rare item.

Auction Houses? Mandatory! No auction house, no money. Knowing what's in demand and the average price asked for it, you'll gain a position where trading borders on the unfair -for other player, that is! All this will make arena play much more enjoyable as soon as you reach the minimum level necessary to play it.

And of course the arena calculator can help you in arena matches when you are ready to face them. So take some time reading the exclusive articles and planning your next wow arena match.
